Flower with a view

Fun card I created with inspiration from Valita's Fresh folds.
Steps to make this card:
  1. Start with a piece of whisper white card stock measuring 5 1/4 " x 4".
  2. Use Stampin' Up 5 Petal flower punch to make a "window" in the card.
  3. Use a piece of sponge & rose red ink to apply ink to the punch out & the "window" opening.
  4. Rotate the inked punch out and glue down each petal to the card front.
  5. Stamp desired sentiment.
  6. Make a paper ribbon with coordinating card stock & a border punch. Add ribbon embellishment & attach to your whisper white card front.
  7. Use a two way glue pen to cover the punched out flower & cover with Dazzling Diamonds. Let dry.
  8. Punch smaller flowers to make a flower centre & attach to glittered flower centres. I used a rhinestone brad.

Simple Thanks

This is a swap I created for a Stampin'Up event in Calgary. I really like the color combo of Rich Razzleberry, So Saffron & Old Olive. I used the rock & roll technique on the butterfly from For All You Do stamp set. Pocket Silhouette stamp set created the garden. I used the embossing folder Elegant bouquet for the added texture on the So Saffron base.
